Pilot Timeline Future
This is a truly unique pen. The twist action has a double knock, one to extend the cone tip and another to extend the refill tip.
Variants: I think the Pilot Ageless is the same pen under a different name. Three grip materials. Pilot Past has a wood grip, Present is plastic, and Future has a layer of metal over plastic. Hybrid ballpoint, gel, and mechanical pencil versions.
Refill dependent on variant: Gel & Hybrid ballpoint are both proprietary shapes. There are known hacks for the gel versions. I’ve also seen Pilot Coleto needlepoint refill hacks for the ballpoint version.
